The Thomas Tompion Mantel clock was named after it’s namesake Mr. Tompion, who was a founding member of England’s famed Clockmaker’s Guild of the 1630s. It is therefore one of Howard Miller’s beautiful and also least affordable of their collection. It is finished in Windsor Cherry on select hardwoods and veneers. There are rare olive ash burl veneers on the door and hand-painted gold decorations accent the bracket case. Glass sides and mirrored back reveal the movement. A high-precision, German-made, key-wound Kieninger triple-chime movement plays your choice of Westminster, St. Michael, or Whittington 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 chimes accordingly with full chime and strike on the hour. An industry exclusive dual-ratchet winding arbour ensures safe movement winding and of course a chime silence option. 18.25″ high x 14 3/4″ wide x 8.25″ deep.
Coming in at about a third of the cost, the Graham Bracket III is also a convincing token of appreciation which was named after clockmaker George Graham. Hit measures 14.25″ high x 10.5″ wide and is 6.5″ deep. Again, this clock is Windsor Cherry finish with brass findings and a silver chapter ring and decorative corner spandrels. It has a quartz dual-chime Kieninger movement which takes two C batteries (not included). The clocks may be printed or engraved on the pendulum, or if there is no pendulum, on the glass face or engraved onto the clock or an engraving plate which will come attached.
The Langeland Mantel Clock has a Hampton Cherry finish. It has a Lamb’s woold dial with a polished brass-finished bezel. The brass-finished pendulum is suitable to engrave A battery-operated dual-chime Kieninger movement plays full Westminister or Ave Maria chimes, which strike on the hour. Optional 4/4 chime feature. Volume control, automatic nighttime volume reduction and nighttime chime shut-off options may be set. Requires two C batteries, not included).
The more affordable Statesboro Mantel Clock has a Cherry Bordeaux finish in an olive ash burl pattern. The white dial with polished brass-tone bezel and revolving brass-finished pendulum are impressive. The Statesboro Manel clock has a quartz, Westminster chime movement and requires two AA and two CC batteries which are not included. It measures 11 3/4″ high x 9.5″ wide x 6.25″ deep.
